Hello Moyock Middle School students and staff! I have interviewed a couple kids in the 7th grade on how they feel about moving up to 8th grade and what they think of 7th grade.
The first kid I interviewed was a boy named Jamie. He confidently said he is ready for 8th grade. He told me that 7th grade is fun because the teachers are nice and you do fun stuff in the classrooms. He said that he heard some of the 8th grade teachers are nice and funny. He said 8th grade is probably going to be hard because 7th grade is already hard.
Next I interviewed a really smart girl named Jordon. Believe it or not, she said she isn't ready for 8th grade! She thinks that 7th grade is pretty fun because they do a lot of projects. She told me that some 8th graders told her that the 8th grade teachers are funny. She thinks 8th grade is going to be hard because there will be more work.
Then I interviewed Abby, she said she was defiantly ready for 8th grade. She said she likes 7th grade because they get to do games and have a lot of freedom. She said that she heard that the 8th grade teachers are nice and fun. Abby thinks 8th grade is going to be kind of hard because it's bigger.
I then interviewed Alex; he said he isn't ready for 8th grade yet. He thinks 7th grade is fun because the teachers are nice and they do a lot of projects. He has heard that Mr. Robb (the math teacher) likes to joke around a lot. Alex thinks 8th grade is going to be hard because of all the work you’re going to have to do.
Next I interviewed Blaine; he said he's ready for 8th grade! He thinks 7th grade is kind of fun because they do a lot of projects, but some are boring. He told me he hasn't heard anything about the 8th grade teachers. Blaine said he thinks 8th grade is going to be hard because of our new curriculum.
I interviewed Jake next; he is ready for 8th grade. Jake thinks 7th grade is not fun because it's boring. He said that he heard that some of the 8th grade teachers are funny. He thinks 8th grade is going to be hard because there will be more information you have to learn.
I interviewed Mason. He said he is ready for 8th grade! He thinks 7th grade is fun, because you can do fun things in pound period and that he has heard that some of the 8th grade teachers are funny. He thinks 8th grade is going to be hard because the teachers are tougher on you.
Last I interviewed Ruby. She said she is ready for 8th grade and that she thinks 7th grade is fun because it's less work. She said that she heard that some of the 8th grade teachers do fun projects, and she thinks 8th grade is going to be hard because it’s an entirely new format.
